Why Millisecond Precision Matters for Delay & Reverb Sync

When syncing delay and reverb effects to a song's tempo, even a 1–2ms difference causes audible drift over time. At 120 BPM, a quarter note is exactly 500ms. If your delay is set to 502ms instead of 500ms, the effect will gradually fall out of sync with the beat.
